Oh Please...

went wif ks after church today to the new national lib at bras basah area to mug... had high hopes intially... after hearin all abt how grand it was n such... my first trip there u c... so along the way got niaoed for being such a "swaku"... haha... anythin lah... been bullied by u so long liao... :)... but anyway... the buildin really looked grand... n nice... initial tots were: "hmm... it wld be such a wonderful feelin to mug in such a nice place... "... went all the way up to the highest floor (11th storey)... *haha... the lift ride was shiok...* where we were abt to make our entrance into the reference section when we were stopped by this Indian security guard... "sorry... but no bags allowed in the reference section..."... n he pointed us towards a notice which said tt no bags or any other materials except blank paper n writin materials r allowed... n in an attempt to be nice... he shoved a pamphlet to us tellin us abt the nearest CC where u can mug... wah... thx arh... rejected, the 2 of us decided to go try our luck at the other floors... all the same situation... all wif security guards who will check wad u r bringin in b4 they allow u to pass them... so security guards in the national lib can be used as customs officers as well... n the reason cited by one of the guards was tt "we will be hoggin the place n deprivin others of the chance to use the resources..."... oh... im not angry abt tt... since its valid anyway... but den... pls hav a gd look at the situation... even if u let all the "intendin muggers" in... there's still sooooooo much empty space... both of us were really pissed... tried to get past the security check by tryin to smuggle in our muggin stuff... but failed... dotz... the lib tried to make up for it by settin up a muggin bench at the basement... but tt one is so small... :(... totally dampened our muggin mood n the end result was tt we went home w/o any fruitful work... the only more useful thing we did was juz to hav time to chat abt some stuff... argh!!!... rigidity sux!!! :(
