Updates...

been away at a family chalet frm 28 to 30 dec... n i juz got home feeling a bit dreamy cos of the intense lack of slp over the 2 nites... smth like wad happened durin class chalet... haha... came back only to realise tt my tagboard has been mercilessly spammed by my dear 04S73ians... *come on lah, besides our class, i cant tink of anyone else who will derive self-entertainment frm this*... :)... i expect even more hectic stuff for this comin wk... 7 days exactly left to date of deforestation (cutting my hair)... n i still havent started on my exercise routine... die die die... hopefully i can start tml... tink i will nd some super motivation lah... haha...
listened to the jay chou cd... n i tink i hav another fav song liao... feng1... somehow the melody juz touches u... *i dun noe abt the lyrics yet... havent had a chance to c...*... haha... :)

Class Dinner 26/12/05

hmm... had our 04S73 class dinner yday... attendance rate was gd... 17 out of 26... those who dint come... hope u all hav a gd reason arh... haha... juz jokin... but i really hope tt this can continue to keep up over the yrs... *im referrin to the over-half attendance rate... not being absent... :)*... being the dutiful reporter tt i always am... i shall giv a short write-up abt the dinner yday...
1) we met at city hall mrt at 5.20pm *actually... i was late... courtesy of me missin a bus frm minz's hse after a game of bridge n dai dee*... as i went up the escalator... really cld feel myself being so excited at finally being able to c the class again after abt 3 wks since prom... for some, it was one mnth... the class dint change much... we r still as we hav always been... haha... :)
2) went down to esplanade thai express... where we found out tt they arranged for us to sit outside... no air-con... n it was abt to rain... they claimed tt there were not enuf seats inside... ok... den we had a round of strugglin wif tryin to place orders cos we dun understand Thai... n the food pics put into the menu had no numbers attached to it... so i seriously dun noe wad was the pics for... serving food was quite slow actually... n they somehow managed to forget my order!!!... thus... after abt every1 in class was finishin their dinner... mine came... dotz... :(
3) had a long long chat session till abt 8.45pm... there were abt 3 grps of conversations... erene n co. were one grp... wx n co. were one grp... n 3 silly little guys (me, mollie n low low) were nowhere... hahah... but topics were quite different liao... work was one fav topic among the gals... n the guys were tolkin abt their future life in NS... which is not too far away after all... settled to bill to realise tt we had an excess of 10+ bucks... wonderful neh... so 2 pple shared one ice-cream... haha... n we proceeded to the rooftop terrace for more tolkin...
4) i suggested a game of polar bear... did one round... yw n xav were damn gd at polar bears... they survived all the way to the end... until there was really no one to kill liao... on the contrary... john was the policeman who got killed very soon... haha... but luckily he dropped some hints while he was "alive" tt led to the successful killin of xav towards the end... haha... den it was a round of updatin each other wif our present situations... seemed like every1 was doin quite fine... we concluded our session wif the qn which fy n team had been researchin on ever since j1 last yr: "if every1 in the world died except those in our class *wonder y our class so lucky...*... who wld u marry???"... some pple remained faithful thru the 2 yrs... pple like alvin low... while i tink a few changed liao... haha... but the overall hot favs were erene n mollie... :)... followin tt... we left in grps... to continue on wif our own journeys but wif a deal to meet up again durin orientation campfire *which a few guys like me, mollie, mz n cj cant join cos we r enlisted on tt very day!!!*... argh!!! but the rest shld come back if u all can... haha... let the spirit of 04S73 live on... :)

ok... really sorry for the long long long long break... not tt my blog is dead liao... juz tt dear CS is so busy wif so many stuff... i guess i wont blog abt the events tt hav taken place these few wks liao... or else a lot of pple will complain tt my this entry will be tooooo long liao... haha... but i had my youth camp in church... followed almost immediately by a trip to malaysia... den had christmas celebrations n stuff... wah... im really a bit shagged... den comin up for this wk i still hav 04S73 class dinner tml... n chalet wif my cousins frm 28 to 30 dec... haha... n my NS enlistment date is officially 12 days away... n i hav yet to start on my trainin routine... sigh... haha... :)... well... guess i will take each day as it is ba... n thx to all who sent me christmas greetings... be it by sms, card or gifts... haha... its really heartwarmin... but im really sorry tt i wasn't able to send back cards or anythin... so here's one big MERRY CHRISTMAS N A HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!! haha... *cheapskate*... haha... ;) love ya all!!!

Prom... a whole nite of wonderful memories...

a wonderful nite of wonderful memories... tt's how i wld describe our prom nite 2005 at ritz carlton... really enjoyed the last moments we will spend wif each other for prob a few yrs to come... n i tink i agree wif xav's comment... there was really so much so much tt was so wonderful... haha... will show the pics after i uploaded them... for now i wish to do a small report... haha... :)
1) rushed out for prom cos i took quite a long time to put on my contact lens... haha... newbie... cant blame me... but even then... im proud to say tt im the first to reach... where i was supposed to meet yw, xav, wk, jy n jas... haha... it was quite embarrasin at first... cos jy n wk were late... n the bulk of the money for the hotel rm was wif jy... haha... so when fy's mum asked us for money... me, xav n yw were forkin out our money... but luckily jy n wk came soon after... n the money prob was solved... *btw... some pple still owe me money... haha... will claim frm u all durin our christmas event*...
2) after a mad rush of settling... me, jas, wk n xav took a cab down to far east plaza to do our hair cos we were late... haha... n there was a jam lah... so we arrived REALLY late... haha... hmm... my hairstyle was quite erm... awkward at first... cos i wasn't used to it... but ltr it was better... :)... jas, wk n xav all got nice hairstyles... haha... n we went back to marina mandarin by mrt this time... since we figured tt we had quite ample time n we wanted to save some money...
3) back at the hotel rm... final touch-ups for the guys n we went to outside the gals rm to wait for the gals... n wow... i must say tt the gals looked really quite different... n surely better... haha... for guys we looked almost the same... haha... n thus began our "the blind lead the blind" hike to ritz carlton... haha... cos no one was very sure how to go... so we kinda bumped arnd... n i guess a lot of pple were very amazed at this parade of abt 20 pple dressed in coats n gowns walkin along the road at marina sq... haha... but anyway... we found our way there... time was abt 7.30pm...
4) as expected... prom hasn't started... so we began a mad rush of photograph-takin... i embarked on my mission to take a personal pic wif every1... n i must say tt it was 80% complete by the time i entered the ballrm... haha... really thx to all who shang lian take photo wif me... :)
5) ok... prom started proper... but amidst all the socialisin wif every1... its evident tt the mc needed quite gd programmes to capture our attention... there were some nice programmes lah... haha... quite funny also... the food... erm... not worth it... servin was quite small n quality not very gd also... but the atmosphere was nice... met some old frens... n some mere acquaintances... but its like we will stare at each other for a while... den suddenly go over n take photos tho i mite not really noe tt person very well... hahah... had quite a gd time socialisin arnd... found all the pple tt i want to find... :)... n the video the council made for us was so memorable n brought back a lot of fond memories... thx fy for contributin our photos n tt's y we can c our own photos in the video...
6) towards the ltr part of the event... 04S73 adjourned to the baby grand piano outside the ballrm n began playin some songs sooo familiar to us thru'out this 2 yrs... the different versions of "Happy Birthdays", some cranky songs... sch songs... haha... we enjoyed ourselves sooo much tt the councillors had to come n tell us to stop playin so moody songs... haha... den took out the candles on our tables for hooxy n jas to blow cos it was their bdays... haha... n we took quite a lot of class photos... or to be more exact... its the same photo taken usin many cameras... haha... poor councillors who had to take the photos for us... it was abt 10+ cameras... a lot of photo-snappin... hahahaha... but i guess tt's where the fun of prom is... :)
7) at abt 12am plus... went back to our hotel rms... where we sang n distributed bday presents to hooxy, jas, siyu n john... haha... its our last time we will be singin bday songs for them tgt... followin tt soon kueh had to leave cos he is goin NS the nxt day *all the best, soon kueh... take care in tekong*... n xav had to go for his trip as well... *enjoy hor... haha... * the gals went back to their respective rms to take a bath... but a prob arised: some1 forgot to take the rm keys... n the gals were literally locked out of the rm... so set, me, yunli n hooxy went down to the counter to get a replacement... will always rmb set's famous words: "this is the time to be a man" *cos the gals were all w/o their shoes... hooxy n yunli went wif us barefooted... :)*... after gettin our replacement key... we went out to the esplanade... merlion park... fullerton hotel for one full walk b4 returnin back to our hotel rms cos they were sooo tired... so after one round of bathin... those who dint hav beds to slp in gathered at the gallery to sit arnd n tolk... n one by one we all collapsed slpin as well... :)
8) finally comes the moment when we hav to start leavin... lt was the first... followed by the 2nd batch at abt 7am plus... we went over to suntec city to hav breakfast... where we cheated a bit for the Delifrance buffet *oops... :)*... den me, hooxy, erene n hailing left... n finally its back to home for more slpin to make up for the slp lost... haha... :)
dear frens in my JC life... be it pple in 04S73 or outside the class... im truly glad tt i hav this chance to get to noe every single one of u in my 2 yrs in JC... in many ways u all hav lit up my life here... really thx a lot... n i really hope tt u will treasure this frenship tt we hav established wif each other... juz as i will... do rmb to keep in touch n take care ok??? for the guys... jia you for NS in tekong... n for the gals... gd luck for ur future pursuits in universities...

ok... cant really find an apt title for this entry... so shall juz label it as "updates"... today was quite tiring n fun but to some extent upsettin... shall elaborate y... morn woke up to argue wif my mum over smth... ok... halfway thru the argument i got a bit agitated n cried a bit... well... tt's the first time i cried again in front of others in like how many yrs... *i cried to myself once the other time... but tt's when i was abt to slp...*... tt's how bad the situation is like... but my parents went out tgt today... so hope tt things mite turn out a bit better... but anyway... the morn cryin kinda affected my voice... so when i went kbox wif ser today... was quite disappointed wif my singin... it was so far frm my best... sorry ser tt i cant sing well for our last kbox session today... but must say tt we really zhuan dao... cos our session is actually frm 11am to 2pm... but somehow they let us drag until 3.45pm!!!... wow... tt's abt 1h 45min... gd bargain... haha... :)... den after tt met xav n wk who happened to be in town to go shoppin arnd for their prom stuff as well as bday presents for the remainin nov n dec babies in 04S73... haha... xav managed to settle his... wk still searchin... for me... i got it ready abt a few days ago... but now i tink it mite be a bit too formal... sigh... nvm lah... cant fork out the money n energy to go shop for smth liao... mayb wad i will simply do on tt day itself is to style my hair n mayb wear contacts... prom to some extent is quite a waste of money actually... but anyway... juz hope tt the day will turn out well... :)

Nva want to be in another class again...

haha... juz woke up frm a long long rest courtesy of the intense lack of slp over at the chalet... n feeling a bit empty cos chalet is over n the nxt thing to look forward to is prom on the 8 dec... n of course our hotel stay at 9 dec... tt will probably be our last chance to c each other b4 we seperate for a few mnths n meet again for our final time in March nxt yr... in my previous entry... i was too busy writing abt the class chalet account tt i forgot to write abt some sentiments tt i had for the class... so here's a sequel to the previous entry ba... been readin a few blogs n glad tt some pple revived their blogs... :)... do keep it there... the common theme noted across all the entries was tt we all agree tt we nva want to be in another class if given the chance... i tink i will agree wif tt... i seriously cant imagine how much fun i will lose out if i was to be in another class... no doubt... cliques do exist in the class... but i guess we r one of the few classes tt despite our cliques... we r still able to exist gd n well as a class... mayb tt was the "mega-clique" idea tt i was searchin for at the very beginnin of the first 2 yrs... this yr's class chalet proved tt we succeeded... haha... days fly by very fast... in a twinkling of an eye... 2 yrs of JC has passed by... like i was tellin Ms Wong tt day durin bbq... its juz like we had orientation yday... haha... n im serious... i can really vividly rmb the day when our class sat tgt in a circle on the hall stage.. strugglin to rmb the names of this grp of pple wif whom we will be spendin our nxt 2 yrs wif... n now... its almost time we r partin... n i really hope tt we will still hav many chances to c each other again nxt time... tho i agree tt it will be difficult cos every1 will be busy n some pple mite even be overseas studyin... but i hope tt we can make it a deal tt we will remain in contact... haha... i will try my best to... :)... so dear 04S73ians... im truly glad tt im in this class... n im proud of it... n i guess i will definitely echo the common sentiment: I WILL NVA WANT TO BE IN ANOTHER CLASS!!! :)

Class Chalet!!!

haha... 04S73 had our 2005 chalet frm 30 Nov to 2 Dec... n im proud to say tt its a success!!!... really thx to all who turned up *which is the whole class*... haha... thx for makin it such a wonderful 3D2N for everyone else... hope it left a lot of wonderful memories for all u 04S73ians... rest assured tt it has definitely been so for me... haha... n as for the gifts tt me, erene n xav prepared for all of u... really hope tt u all will continue to treasure for the yrs to come... haha... ok... as usual... i will record down this meaningful time tgt as a report... so this entry will definitely be super long... so tt down the yrs... we can still look back at this entry n relish the moments... :)
30 Nov: well... the plannin grp met at 2pm at pasir ris mrt to settle the stuff tt we needed to buy for the chalet... which turned out to be quite a lot... inclusive of the bbq stuff n other miscellanous stuff... after tt... met the rest of the class at 4pm to take the shuttle service... but weisi was late... n in the end... the majority of the class went first... while me, erene n low low stayed behind to wait for weisi n take a cab there... haha... in the end we reached at abt the same time as the rest... :)... checked into the chalet n settled the slpin arrangements... haha... n b4 long... we were on our way to prepare dinner -- spaghetti!!!... but too many cooks spoiled the soup... n there was a bit of problems in the kitchen while the rest were playin mahjong n watchin tv out in the living rm... haha... but in the end... we managed to enjoy a gd spaghetti meal... must really thank all those who contributed to preparin this dinner... haha... :)... following tt... jas was very anxious to get his "KINKY NITE" started... haha... oh boy... the games were super fun... 1st game was the banana game... in which the gal has to take the banana n walk blindfolded to the guy to feed him... haha... some of the poor guys got a lot of banana smudged arnd their faces b4 they managed to eat the bananas... haha... the 2nd game was the 'groping game'... haha... which was also super funny... esp jas wif his weird poses... hahaha... den we played some mamasan game which was actually a mutated form of lao3 ying1 zhua1 xiao3 ji1... haha... there was a lot of shirt-pullin n rushin arnd... haha... set was totally robbed of his chicks!!!... hahahahah... damn funny... den after tt it was free n easy... first went out to the beach wif a few pple... den returned to chalet to join the guys in the rm playin some card games... n justin was complainin abt my LOTR poker cards... hahah... den joined the rest for a truth or dare game... haha... a lot of secrets were revealed wor!!!... too bad for those who slept... haha... :) den joined the gals to watch sunrise at the beach... but sadly... we faced the wrong direction... but we had a nice time singin songs... haha... :)
1 Dec: breakfast was Mcdonald's... the morn was quite eventful... cos a number of us went over to pasir ris beach to ride bicycle... haha... it was abt a 40min journey ba... n it rained halfway durin our walk there!!!... it became a mad rush for shelter... *erm... tt's more for me ba... the rest were happily strollin*... the rain subsided very soon... n we moved on wif our long walk to the park... where we played wif the "Teppanyaki Disc"... haha... it was super fun... n the guys were brawling at the centre of the disc courtesy of justin... haha... the gals dint dare to try brawling... so they juz sat at the periphery n turned the disc... den continued to ride our bicycles... n i realised how small pasir ris park is... cos we combed the entire place in like less than 1 hr... haha... nonetheless... returned to chalet after 4 hrs plus out to enjoy our nice "Golden Pillow" lunch... haha... shortly after... it was preparation for bbq... n for the sentimental activity tt we will be havin durin the bbq... but too bad the whole class cldn't stay... lt n siyu had to leave early... but anyway... the plan proceeded... n after ms wong arrived... we started our activity... each one had to find a card which bore the no. assigned to each person... haha... but there was a bit of misunderstandin... n pple started findin their own cards... haha... the thing was actually to find some1 else's card... but after tt was cleared... haha... the game prcoceeded as planned... n every1 sat back at the rm where there were the words "04S73" laid out on the floor usin tealights... haha... den each pair has to come up n exchange their comments for each other... haha... it was quite nice to hear some stuff n encouragements... hope tt this activity will leave a deep n pleasant memory for every1 there... followin tt was bbq n a lot of photo-takin... haha... den quite a no. of pple left... n we gave them each a class photo CD, a personal gift frm erene, me n xav as well as their card... really hope n glad tt they liked it... guess tt's the best reward for us... thx every1... tt event i will rmb for life... :)
2 Dec: well... not many were left by this day... n we juz hanged arnd at the chalet for a while b4 leavin... haha...
so this ends my account of the class chalet... hope tt all of u 04S73ians out there will take care of urselves n c ya at prom!!!... 04S73 forever!!! :)
