National Day Eve...

hmm... today was national day eve... woke up to c dark clouds... hip hip hooray!!!... tt means the parade will be cancelled n the concert will start early n end early... but sadly... tt was not to be the case... the sch made us wait until abt 7.40am... *not very sure abt the time... since i wasnt really lookin at my hp clock... juz a rough estimate*... den announced tt we were to go over to the terraces for the parade... dotz... reached there only to hear Mr Bala apoligizin tt the wet weather wasn't factored into consideration... ok... but i tot wet weather programmes r the normal procedures for any event???... nvm... parade was as usual... 15 pple turned up frm our class... not too bad after all... but Mr Pang seriously looked pissed today... cos of the poor attendance frm the college section... ok... i expect a scoldin on thurs... but nvm abt tt first... struck me tt s'pore students really lack the mind to change accordin to circumstances... cos the MC for the parade actually said: "pls be seated." when the terraces were so wet???!!!... oh sure... if u wld like a nice wash for ur pants... pls do sit down... *ok... a bit of sarcasm*... after tt proceeded back to college to watch the concert... luckily our class pple were fast enuf to grab the seats at the back of the hall... which wasn't so crowded... n less hot... so the concert went on n on... n mz n i siamed off immediately after the song session to rush to suntec... where we were supposed to meet jas at 11am for our 'seven swords' movie... reached there after a long walk frm marina square... on the way... tolked to mz abt religion n morals in society... haha... realised tt he really does hav deep tots... n tinks a lot... tho some parts i dint really agree... but each to his own opinion... bot the tix (its 8 bucks today)... b4 strollin to HMV to listen to songs... n receivin calls frm gl askin me abt her supposed sponsored tix... here i must say a big thx to my da jie for tellin her abt it... but i will willingly pay for any support... erm... but 2 is enuf liao hor... thx... :)... ok... realised tt im a bit borin wif details... so shall go on to the movie... which had really poor turnout... the cinema wasn't even 1/4 filled... the power of critics... the show was rated 2-star... n it really has such an adverse effect on the box office sales... but anyway... after watchin the show... realised tt the critics either has smth against the director... or they simply dun understand the true meanin behind such sword-fightin shows... not tt i profess to be very well-versed in tt... but i guess after so many yrs of readin sword-fightin novels... i can rather grasp wad the story was abt... which many pple i heard juz passed it off as "i dun understand wad's goin on"... ok... there r some parts which apparently the details were not covered... but ltr mz told me tt the original show was a 5-hr one... n this is only 2.5-hr... haha... so mayb tt explains y... but the fightin scenes were not bad... except tt some were not impressive enuf 8i wld prefer more fanciful fightin*... n got some bloody scenes n explicit ones as well... n one of the swords always gave a loud vibrating sound tt was quite irritatin actually... cos its very shrill... haha... but apart frm tt... both mz n i agreed tt it was not bad... jas left 2 to 3 min b4 the movie ended cos he needed to chiong to his rehearsal... haha... tot he might as well finish the whole show actually... :) made me recall abt last yr's national day eve... 04S73 went out tgt as a class.. n we played childhood games in the inner plaza... really missed those times... this yr it was all splintered up... wif majority of the pple stayin home to mug... ok... nth wrong wif tt... its the system's fault... but no choice ba... haha... since we r born into it... we hav to live wif it... :)
